Beyond Healthcare

Wellness Programs

AACI’s Domestic Violence Program was created to address the unmet needs of Asian American women and children, the primary victims of domestic violence.

By providing direct services that prioritize linguistic and cultural needs, and by cooperating with other service providers, AACI seeks to bridge service gaps and create a support network for abused Asian Americans.

In 1976, AACI began serving Asian American seniors by providing mental health programs. In 1985, its services expanded to include English as a Second Language classes, citizenship classes, outreach and translation services. After over twenty years of serving the senior community, the program has evolved to promote API seniors’ independence in Santa Clara County.

Since 1990 the goal of the AACI Driving Under the Influence Program has been to assist persons participating in the program, recognize their chemical dependency and to assist them in recovery.

Our objective is to help those convicted of a DUI offense, minimize the likelihood that they will ever again drive a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.

The AACI HIV Outreach, Prevention, and Education (HOPE) Program aims to reduce the incidence of HIV infection in the Asian and Pacific Islander community by engaging the community in Santa Clara County through outreach activities, community events, educational workshops, and by providing free HIV Rapid Testing and Counseling.

High school youth work in partnership with adults. Youth are provided with opportunities to improve local communities through community service, advocacy, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Youth in Technology Incubator (YTI) is a new program that uses technology, art, and media to promote your stories, message, creativity and skills!

Ultimately, YTI is all about giving you skills to develop your voice and be an advocate for yourself & your community. We want to help you tell your shape your ideas and tell your story!
Workshops will be free for youth and young adults ages 12 to 24.

You’ll see future workshops featuring social media influencers, artists, filmmakers, and more!
