Care Philosophy: Dr. Hieu received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine after changing from his career as a teacher and volleyball coach. He completed his residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, the founding place of the AAP, where he worked with the underserved, did many mission trips abroad, and focused on mentoring the youth. He has received many Humanitarian and Educator awards and honors. Making the lives of children better has always been his focus. Dr. Hieu is a passionate physician, especially when it comes to promoting healthy lifestyles and public health. He finds joy daily when caring for our patients and their families and looks forward watching them grow up.
Hobbies: Dr. Hieu has 2 sons who are young and wild. He enjoys volleyball, cooking and traveling. Dr. Hieu is also an avid drummer. He is originally from the bay area and his family all reside in California.
