Your Helping Hand is AACI’s annual year-end fundraiser supporting both our clients and our services. This effort includes two opportunities to give: our Holiday Gift Card Drive, which provides gift cards to 1,000 children from underserved households, and our Year-End Giving campaign, featuring Fiona’s story of healing through counseling.
In a challenging year, your generosity brings hope to the 14,800 individuals and families who rely on AACI for health care, counseling, shelter, and meals—along with the 20,000+ community members we impact through outreach.
Below, you’ll find both ways to extend Your Helping Hand this season.
Give a Holiday Gift to a Child in Need
AACI is collecting cash donations and gift cards through December 15, 2025 to provide holiday gifts to children from underserved families, including survivors of domestic violence, refugees, and low-income families. Every $25 donation gives a child a gift card, letting them pick out a special gift from their holiday wish list.
This year, we have identified 1,000 children at AACI who are in need of a holiday gift. Your support can help ensure that each of these children receives a gift.

Help a Client Like Fiona Access the Care They Need
After fleeing political violence in her home country, 19-year-old Fiona faced overwhelming depression and anxiety. When she visited a primary care doctor at AACI Health Center, she was referred to a counselor at AACI Behavioral Health. There, she found the support and stability she needed to heal and regain hope for her future.
