In support of AACI’s mission, we believe in workforce development of health care, behavioral health, and community wellness practitioners from the diverse communities we serve. AACI contribute to higher education through its affiliations with a number of local and national universities providing for Internships, externships, clinical rotations, and graduate students clinical internships.

The aim of our APA-accredited Behavioral Health practicum and internship program is to train the next generation of culturally sensitive mental health providers to effectively work with underserved members of the community in a trauma-informed and holistic manner.  Our Behavioral Health doctoral internship web page provides additional information.
