The Asian American Heritage Future Roots Festival celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, recognizing the many contributions and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) in the United States. The festival is presented by Councilmember Ash Kalra, in partnership with AACI.

Held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the heart of downtown San José at Plaza de Cesar Chavez, the all-day outdoor festival returns for the fourth year and will feature more entertaining performances by AAPI artists, including traditional and contemporary dance and music, as well as delectable tastings from gourmet food trucks and unique vendor booths.
