<p>The Program Manager has overall responsibility for the implementation of all Family &#038; Children Programs in the Behavioral Health Department. This position has oversight over all program activities, compliance with programmatic, administrative and fiscal requirements of contracts and grants. The Program Manager is also responsible for staff clinical and administrative supervision, monitoring staff and program performance and providing leadership as part of the management team in Behavioral Health. The F&#038;C Program Manager reports to the Associate Director Community Mental Health.</p>
<h3><strong>Specific Functions</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Management: </strong>Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and be responsible for productivity of department. Coordinate provision of services with other program elements, related community mental health service agencies, private care providers and treatment facilities. Assist in telephone triaging of client/family member/ other provider inquiries/ concerns regarding mental health services and clinical care. Facilitate monthly meeting for F&#038;C department staff and interns.  Maintain and make recommendations for modifications to practice policies and procedures in areas related to clinical services. Coordinate referrals to program and evaluate appropriateness based on admissions/medical necessity criteria. Assist in interviewing and hiring of staff and interns. Perform performance feedback to program staff on a regular basis. Participate in and ensure continuing training/education for clinical staff. </li>
<li><strong>Clinical Supervision:  </strong>Provide 1 hour of weekly clinical supervision to assigned mental health staff.  These weekly supervision sessions will provide for oversight, approval and coaching for all cases served by each non-licensed mental health staff member.<br />
Assist clinical staff with crisis intervention. </li>
<li><strong>Clinical Consultation:</strong> Provide assistance and co-facilitation with other clinical supervisors, the Associate Director Community Mental Health and the medical director for 2 hours each week of clinical consultation/case presentations for all mental health staff.  Provide consultation to the community and related agencies.</li>
<li><strong>Direct Mental Health Services: </strong>Provide 5-15 hours/week of direct mental health services to clients.  Services to include intake, assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual/family/group counseling, case management and case charting. Provide on-duty supervision coverage at least one day per week.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Licensed MFT, LCSW or Ph.D/Psy. D. </li>
<li>Two to three years of post-license clinical experience.</li>
<li>Two to three years of supervisory experience. </li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with people of various cultural, professional and experiential backgrounds. Bilingual in Asian language a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to lead, direct and manage clinical staff.</li>
<li>Knowledge of laws and ethical standards pertaining to clinical care. </li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.</li>

<p>The Program Assistant is responsible for day to day administrative tasks and assists the Program Manager with various duties as they relate to the program. The Program Assistant is also responsible for executing reports to government and state funders which meet all reporting and deadline requirements. This is a full time position. The CST Program Assistant will report directly to the CST Program Manager.
</p>
<h3><strong>Major Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform day to day administrative tasks</li>
<li>Assist Program Manager with various duties related to the program</li>
<li>Assist Program Manager with grant applications</li>
<li>Assist with reporting requirements, including the report narrative, and statistical and necessary data as requested by the funder. </li>
<li>Communicate with staff and funders for reporting purposes</li>
<li>Maintain the CST Referrals from Law Offices book</li>
<li>Communicate CST services including psychological evaluations to law offices &#038; assist with the scheduling of psychological evaluations</li>
<li>Assist CST Program Manager and staff with scheduling and coordinating trainings to various service providers</li>
<li>Assist with the logistics, planning and execution of  events for our client population</li>
<li>Maintain lists of current and potential volunteers. Maintain volunteer hours</li>
<li>Assign tasks to volunteers as necessary and provide support as needed </li>
<li>Completes all other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>BA degree and one year professional experience in office environment preferred </li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills </li>
<li>Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and organized and able to meet deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and independently </li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook</li>
<li>Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) NextGen preferred    </li>
<li>Experience working with diverse ethnic backgrounds and language groups preferred </li>

<p>As each generation rediscovers its roots, it also defines its own identities through new ideas, cultures, and attitudes, becoming the foundation for each generation thereafter. While the festival commemorates Asian and Pacific Islanders throughout history, it also celebrates the artists, activists, and scholars of today. The Future Roots Festival presents us with an opportunity to honor those whose stories will someday become part of our API heritage.</p>
<p>The all-day outdoor festival will feature performances by API artists, including traditional and contemporary dance and music, as well as delectable tastings from gourmet food trucks, arts and crafts, free community health screenings, and multi-lingual booths.</p>

<p>The Associate Director is responsible for staff management, program design and evaluation, financial management, and clinical quality in the delivery of behavioral health services (adult and youth substance abuse treatment, drinking driver programs (DDP), and additional programs as assigned).  In addition, the Associate Director will provide clinical support and consultation.  S/he will also report to a Program Director and assist agency leadership with enterprise-wide administration as needed to achieve organizational mission and goals, including but not limited to recruitment, fund development, public relations, and business development.
</p>
<h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3>
<p>$70,000 -$85,000; exempt; full time</p>
<h3><strong>Specific Functions</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Serve as day-to-day agency liaison with the County Department of Alcohol and Drug Services, the County Probation Department, and the City of San Jose BEST staff, and represent the agency in relevant external meetings.  Coordinate activities with other agency programs and staff.</li>
<li><strong>Management:</strong>  Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of program managers.  Develop and implement appropriate professional development.  Ensure staff compliance with agency clinical, administrative, and personnel procedures, as well as external program reporting requirements.</li>
<li><strong>Program Design and Evaluation:</strong>  Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of programs and services, through chart review and other quality assurance/quality improvement activities. Support program managers in developing effective and measurable outcomes.  Review contracts, program reports, and client and financial data as appropriate to ensure successful program operations.  Recommend and develop new projects, policies, and funding sources in accordance with agency priorities.  Assist with grant writing and reporting as necessary for programmatic operations. </li>
<li><strong>Clinical Consultation: </strong> Provide clinical consultation and guidance to staff in addressing client management, crisis intervention, and emergencies.</li>
<li><strong>Financial Management: </strong>Monitor billing and review regular financial reports in consultation with agency financial staff.  Ensure staff compliance with Medi-Cal processes.  Adjust programs as needed.</li>
<li><strong>Other Duties: </strong> Responsible for other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred. </li>
<li>Graduate degree and California state license in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with behavioral health program and financial management.</li>
<li>Bilingual/bicultural preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Valid California driver’s license.</li>

<p>To meet the needs of victims of domestic violence, AACI Asian Women’s Home relies on a pool of Shelter Support Staff to provide 24-hour coverage of the emergency shelter and crisis hotline.  These staff are essential to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for shelter residents on weekends and weekdays/weeknights as needed.
</p>
<h3><strong>Specific Functions</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Counseling: </strong>Answer the 24 hour crisis hotline, providing crisis counseling and safety planning, information and referrals, and intake for shelter as needed.</li>
<li><strong>Case Management: </strong>Assist new residents with intake process, including completion of all paperwork.  Provide shelter residents with interpretation, translation, transportation, and other supportive services as needed.  Document all services and activities in client files. </li>
<li><strong>Milieu Support: </strong>Support the shelter residents with activities of daily living, including crisis intervention and practical support.  Promote residents’ understanding of house rules as necessary for communal living.  Ensure that the shelter facility is kept as clean and presentable as possible at all times.  Ensure that the continuous confidentiality of the shelter location and residents is maintained at all times.  Supervise and assist with meal planning, preparation, and clean up.  Coordinate residents’ daily laundry and housekeeping tasks.  Organize indoor and outdoor group activities for shelter residents, including families and children.</li>
<li><strong>General Administration: </strong>Ensure that the staff office and storage areas are kept clean and organized.<br />
Assist shelter volunteers with their orientation and task assignments.  Assist the shelter coordinator with programmatic reports and other administrative requirements.  Pick up and organize food bank and other donations, as needed.  </li>
<li><strong>Other Duties:</strong> Performs other duties as may be required.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS in social work, behavioral sciences, other related fields or equivalent experience.  Domestic violence education preferred.</li>
<li>One year of professional experience in the domestic violence field preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Highly motivated, organized, self-directed, a team-player.</li>
<li>Able to work in a flexible environment including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.  </li>
<li>Must complete 40 hours of domestic violence training.</li>
<li>Knowledge of domestic violence issues as they relate to various Asian cultures.  Sensitive and able to work with diverse communities in terms of race, ethnicity, class, sexual and gender orientations, age, disability and other groups.  </li>
<li>Committed to working to end domestic violence and child abuse, practices non-violence including non-corporal discipline and non-abusive communication. </li>
<li>Computer literate and proficient using email, Microsoft Office, and other desktop applications.</li>
<li>Proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license.</li>
<li>Fluent and able to provide all services in Spanish preferred.</li>

<li>Advocacy: Act on behalf of survivors to increase survivor safety and decrease further victimization by systems. Communicate with Shelter Coordinator and Program Manager regarding system advocacy needs.</li>
<li>Volunteer Support: Supervise shelter volunteers as needed, assist with their orientation and task assignments.</li>
<li>General Administration: Submit monthly client data forms that are required for grant deliverables. Assist with data compilation tasks.</li>
<li>Community Outreach and Education: May assist with community outreach and education regarding domestic violence, especially in communities of the advocate’s language fluency.</li>
<li>Community Relations: Attend meetings related to the delivery of services to survivors.</li>
<li>Other Duties: Perform other duties as may be required.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS in social work, behavioral sciences, other related fields or equivalent experience. Domestic violence education preferred.</li>
<li>One year of professional experience in the domestic violence field preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly motivated, organized, self-directed, a team-player.</li>
<li>Able to work in a flexible environment including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>40 hours of domestic violence training preferred.  Otherwise will have to complete after hiring.  </li>
<li>Knowledge of domestic violence issues as they relate to various Asian cultures. Sensitive and able to work with diverse communities in terms of race, ethnicity, class, sexual and gender orientations, age, disability and other groups.</li>
<li>Committed to working to end domestic violence and child abuse, practices non-violence including non-corporal discipline and non-abusive communication.</li>
<li>Computer literate and proficient using email, Microsoft Office, and other desktop applications.</li>
<li>Proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license.</li>
<li>Fluent and able to provide all services in Vietnamese and English preferred. </li>

<p>The Drinking Driver Program teaches first time and multiple offenders about the negative consequences of drinking while driving.  Classes are taught by bilingual instructors to clients who are monolingual, Asian clients.   The Drinking Driver Program Instructor is responsible for conducting individual and/or group counseling sessions, teaching First and Multiple Offender Drinking Driver classes; and conducting assessments and interviews for participants with alcohol and/or other drug problems. Reports to DDP Manager. On-call instructor opportunities are also available for Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Korean speaking instructors.
</p>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Two years or more of experience providing counseling services to persons with alcohol and/or other drug problems.</li>
<li>CAADAC or one year experience in providing alcohol and drug abuse prevention/treatment.   </li>
<li>BA/BS in behavioral sciences or a related field preferred.</li>

<p>Responsible for recruitment, training and supervision of Behavioral Health (BH) interns, trainees and clinical staff. Facilitate clinical and professional development for interns, trainees and BH clinical staff in a manner that is logical, sequential and gradual in complexity.  Maintain adherence to clinical practice guidelines and standards required to ensure compliance with APPIC, CAPIC, BAPIC and graduate program(s) standards.  Oversee the utilization, training and outcomes evaluation of outcome measures for clinical services, training, and supervision.  This position will report to the Director of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs and indirectly to the Director of Mental Health Programs.  AACI plans to pursue APA accreditation, knowledge of APA’s Council of Accreditation guidelines and standards a plus.
</p>
<h3><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the recruitment and selection of traineeship and internship applicants</li>
<li>Maintain current informational materials related to practicum, traineeship and internship recruitment. </li>
<li>Provide information about Internship Program and application materials to potential candidates inquiring about Internship.</li>
<li>Liaison for APPIC/ CAPIC/ BAPIC and graduate programs’ practicum and Internship Fairs to recruit potential trainees/interns.</li>
<li>Liaison with Santa Clara County Mental Health Department Intern Collaborative</li>
<li>Coordinate and lead interviews and selection process for training candidates.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Coordination and development of Internship Program</li>
<li>2-4 day Intern and Trainee Orientations.</li>
<li>Organize weekly didactic trainings for interns (required: Assessment, Treatment Planning, Outcome Measures, Progress Notes, Crisis Intervention, Ethics and Law, Professional Development)</li>
<li>Communicate with other Supervisors/Directors regarding the goals, progress and needs of Internship Program.</li>
<li>Track successful completion of Intern and Trainee training, evaluations, follow up with proximal and distal data. </li>
<li>Arrange site visits with Graduate Clinical Programs and Internship representatives. (e.g.: Argosy, CSPP/AIU, ITP, JFK, PGSP-Ph.D., PGSP-PsyD, SJSU, USF; AACI is a member of CAPIC).</li>
<li>Assist in the on-going development of the training program to pursue APA accreditation and adhere to all regulations and practice standards to maintain on-going good standing status.</li>
</ul>

<li>Clinical and Administrative supervision of interns, trainees and clinical staff</li>
<li>Weekly clinical supervision with assigned behavioral health interns, trainees and staff as needed for effective and efficient program service delivery and training requirements.</li>

<li>Clinical consultation to peers and staff as needed.</li>

<ul>
<li>Oversight and coordination of clinical outcomes measures for training program and clinical services delivery.</li>
<li>Ability to develop and maintain an effective and reliable outcome measure and tracking system to show effectiveness and quality of overall training program.</li>
<li>Quantitative and qualitatively analytical skills to recommend training and programmatic changes based on functional data.</li>
<li>Lead, train, and oversee implementation and evaluation of clinical and program outcome measures.</li>
<li>Able to review and recommend clinical and program outcome measures for on-going and continued quality improvement.  </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Direct clinical services including individual/group/family therapy.</li>
<li>Carry a small direct services caseload as needed to ensure clinical practice.</li>
<li>May do co-therapy with trainee, intern and/or staff for supervision and training purposes.</li>
<li>Maintain active license in good standing to supervise and practice in CA.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Licensed Psychologist in good standing with the CA Board of Psychology.</li>
<li>Completion of an APA approved program and internship preferred.</li>
<li>2-3 years post-license clinical and training experience preferred.</li>
<li>Two to three years of supervisory experience. </li>
<li>Knowledge and proficiency with psychological assessment measures and practices.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with people of various cultural, professional and experiential backgrounds. Bilingual in Asian/Spanish language a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to lead, direct and manage clinical trainees, interns and staff.</li>
<li>Knowledge of laws and ethical standards for clinical training and healthcare service delivery in CA. </li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal skills for technical, clinical and public speaking and reporting.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Powerpoint, etc.) and other presentation tools and packages.</li>
<li>Proficient with statistical analysis packages for social sciences. </li>
