[San Jose, CA] AACI is excited to announce that Hanley Chew has been appointed AACI Chairman of the Board. Hanley succeeds Patrick Kwok.
Hanley Chew has been an AACI Board Member since January 2010 and is currently at Fenwick & West, a law practice focused on privacy and data security litigation, counseling and investigations, as well as intellectual property and commercial disputes affecting high technology and data driven companies.
He is highly accomplished with numerous publications and has worked for 10 years as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in the Northern District of California. Hanley came to AACI initially because of his dedicated interest in youth programs. He volunteered in AACI’s youth development program, inspired by what he saw was possible among the families and youth that AACI served. When asked if he would join the AACI board, Hanley gave his whole-hearted support and has been a valuable member since.
He holds a B.A in Government Studies from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
AACI is excited to have Hanley Chew as our Board Chair!
