CARE Program Conducting Surveys on Problem Gambling Awareness and Knowledge
November 9, 2011
The AACI Center for Addiction Recovery & Empowerment (CARE) invites you to participate in an online community survey led by Problem Gambling Alliance (PG Alliance). This survey is designed to assess local problem gambling (PG) prevalence, to identify communities at risk, and to understand community awareness of PG, resources, and help seeking behaviors. You were selected because you are a community member of San Jose and are over the age of 18 years old. Your participation is voluntary and you can decide not to participate at anytime. The survey is anonymous and no information will be used to identify you.
This online survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will ask questions regarding your health knowledge and beliefs, gambling behavior, and some demographic questions. Information from this survey will allow the PG Alliance to increase awareness about responsible gaming practices and problem gambling resources.
