AACI Honors Congressman Honda with Gordon N. Chan Leadership Award at Fundraising Luncheon

(San Jose, CA) – Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) will honor Congressman Mike Honda with the Gordon N. Chan Leadership Award for exemplifying Gordon Chan’s leadership traits of generosity, compassion, commitment, and advocacy, at their Fundraising Luncheon on Friday, May 7th at the Doubletree Hotel San Jose from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Congressman Honda has been serving the 15th Congressional District of California in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2001. Congressman Honda is also a founding board member of AACI.

Today, AACI is the largest community-based organization focused on the health, mental health, and well-being of Asian Americans in Santa Clara County. Based in San Jose, AACI provides multilingual services to over 9,000 individuals each year. AACI provides an array of services including primary healthcare, mental health services, domestic violence shelter, youth services, and senior services.
The luncheon is made possible by generous gifts from El Camino Hospital, The Health Trust, Kaiser Permanente San Jose & Santa Clara, PG&E, The Raymond Foundation, San Francisco 49rs, Southwest Airlines, and Union Bank of California.
